Hi everyone! I have the following stove that the lower oven stopped igniting. I took it apart and turned the oven on and the igniter doesn't glow at all. I think it might be the igniter.

GE Model: PGB960SEJSS

I found the following igniter available for the stove at an online GE parts store. According to an online parts store the lower oven part is "IGNITER GLOWBAR WB13X24924"

I'm not complaining that it is $75+ online, but when I Search Amazon or Ebay, I don't get the same part yet I get a bunch of others that are much cheaper, around $20+. If they are interchangeable, I's probably get two or three of them to have.

Thoughts?

Thank you!!

I always check for 120 volts with my meter to the igniter glowbar when it should be glowing when you first start the oven. Just remove the electrical connector to that glowbar and put your meter probes in the electrical connector.

If your meter reads 120 volts and its not glowing, then its bad.

Here's the lower oven BAKE igniter glowbar for your model: Igniter Glowbar WB13X25633

That's the upper oven glowbar igniter: Igniter Glowbar WB13X24924

thanks Jake. I just bought the one you listed for me. For installation, do I use wire-nuts? does it come with wire nuts? I don't see that connector in my stove unless I have to pull it out of that hole. Thanks !!

That's where the electrical connector should be located.

If wire nuts are needed they always come with the new ignitor.
