I have a Frigidaire slide in stove and the fan that cools the stove and exhausts out the top was making a lot of noise. I removed the fan cleaned and lubricated it and reinstalled. I notice the fan runs all the time and never shuts off even when the stove oven has not been used for 2-3 days. is this normal or is there a faulty thermostat . Parts show 2 high speed thermostats and the wiring diagram shows one. I do not know if the cooling fan is designed to run all the time or the switch is bad.

I don't know if the fan should run 100% of the time. I don't have a service manual to check but I doubt it very much.

There are two thermostats shown wired in the fan motor circuit. The only way power could get to the motor at all is if the high limit thermostat's contacts were electrically closed. I would not expect that thermostat to be closed before reaching its set operating temperature.
