When pre heating the main oven to 375 the door locked up randomly. After resetting the breaker I was able to open the door and saw white powder everywhere (see pic)
I assume this event was because of a high temperature excursion. I thought I’d see a heating element blown but nothing appears different. The upper element looksand functions normal, while the bottom element is hidden beneath the oven floor so it couldn’t be that. I’ve now noticed a 20-30 degree lower temp then the oven is set to and I have gotten a temperature sensor warning on the oven. I tried pre heating to 500 degrees to check its accuracy and my independent thermometer read about 600 eventually, causing the temp sensor warning to appear.
What could the white powder be? Could this problem just be the temp sensor?
