Puddles in ice tray

Ice bucket seems to be catching a leak or overflow from the icemaker - causing puddles that freeze into ice masses. I can't find any visible drips, but the evidence is unmistakable! Any ideas how to diagnose more clearly? Heads up - repair advice request will follow! Love the site, Jake - you seem very knowledgeable and helpful . . .

Hi, feel inside your ice maker tray and see how high the ice cubes come up in the tray, if the ice is almost at the very top of the tray, then its likely the ice maker itself telling the water inlet valve to fill too much.
