FIXED PZS25KSEBFSS GE side by side evaporator icing up

Hi Jake,

Need help to find the part # for the fresh food Evaporator fan. Don’t find it on APPro.
Still freezing up, gonna replace fan and drip tray… last resort.

David

Thanks so much Jake, great response per usual!
I didn’t occur to me that the part # would be on the motor. The fridge is STILL icing up. This is the last thing I can think of to replace. Where is all that humidity coming from? (door seals are good)

The Fresh Food Fan Motor comes with the cover assembly:

Where is all that humidity coming from? (door seals are good)
That I don't know either, since your door seals are good.

Hi Jake,

I have a new question (since my fridge is STILL icing up) Just hypothetically, if someone wanted to turn off power temporarily to the compressor (or whatever they call it on this model) so that the fan could run with the cooling function off, how could that be accomplished? If it’s an induction motor on the compressor, does it have a separate starting circuit that would possibly burn out if I (er.. somone) interrupted power to the main winding? It’s a plan.

There's no way to do that David, as far as I know, sorry.
