I have this older Samsung, bottom freezer, and the ice maker in bottom is not harvesting ice. Thought it was the ice maker. Installed new ice maker. Still doesn't work.
The freezer is at 0 degrees. Temperature on display reads the same.
Not sure what to do but try another ice maker. Yet that seems a little bit of a long shot.
Any ideas?

I did. It tests perfectly. But does not harvest. Which was the problem with the original Ice Maker. Just figured the thermistor had gone out on the old ice maker considering the temperature was good in the freezer.

Try the test button. The test button either on the bottom of the ice maker module or on the side of it.

Press and hold the ICE TEST BUTTON for at least 1.5sec, the harvest function will start. The Ice maker heater turns on for 30 seconds to 2 minutes. After the Ice maker heater turns off, the Ice maker harvest motor turns on. The motor will rotate in right direction for about 3 minutes, after this, water supply valve is turned on, then the valve is turned off, the test mode is completed. If the above operation is not carried out within 6 minutes, it will go into a fault mode.

--->You must have patience, this is not as fast as the flex tray test cycle.
