I picked up a used small GE chest freezer. Once got home, noticed a mild fishy smell. We cleaned it out with bleach solution that seemed to help, but not entirely. In sniffing around, I suspect the insulation in the chest lid has absorbed orders. Its a fiber type insulation. Can I replace this insulation with insulation board? What are recommended types of insulation for a chest freezer lid? Thanks,
