• ** REMEMBER! **The microwave can still shock you even unplugged!!

    ALWAYS discharge the high-voltage capacitor first if you even think your hands will come close to any HIGH VOLTAGE components.

    Jeff mentions this: Anything in the high voltage ( magnetron, capacitor, diode, wires to and from ):
    ...Use a metal ( not the shiny chrome type ) screw driver with a insulated handle to short across ( touch both at the same time ) the terminals of the high voltage capacitor to discharge it.

Replaced Control Board on Microwave - Powers but keys don't start the right functions

It powers up and the microwave is on... but when I push the buttons they don't work right.

The Clock button comes up with autodefrost and the 'stop/clear' button goes to a 0-mute, 2-loud... etc .

Maybe you got the wrong part??

All 3 seem to show W10261245 as the part#, is that the one you ordered?....but this is an expensive part to replace on a counter style microwave!?

MAYTAG MICROWAVE CONTROL BOARD W10261245 DE41-0039A

Looks exactly like the one I replaced?
