FIXED Replacing oven board on Kenmore 790.4672.3700 oven range

I need to replace the oven control board on a Kenmore 790.4672.3700. All the videos I can find online shows how to open the front panel and get to the board on a version that has physical control knobs... mine has just a touch pad, no knobs.
Does anybody know how I can get to the control board, so I can replace it?

Here's the main center clock oven control board for your model: 316462836 Controller

Its been many years since I replaced the clock oven control board on this model, but open the oven door and look for screws underneath the control panel, also pull the range out from the wall a little bit and see if you notice any screws on the side end caps of the control panel.

Make sure you disconnect power to the range first before you begin!

Thanks for your reply. I already ordered the board. I noticed that there are some screws below the panel when you open the door but I didn't mess with them yet, hoping to find some instructions before the board arrives

Ok, sounds good. I wish I had the service manual and it would tell you how, but I can't locate it.

Thanks for your tip about screws in the sidewall. That's indeed where they were. I pulled it out a couple of inches and took out one screw on each side and the panel was released, new board installed
