RF135BDRUX4N Fisher & Paykel Fridge Water Dispenser Won't Stop

Hi, the water dispenser on my fisher & paykel fridge (model RF135BDRUX4N) wouldn't stop dispensing water even when the front control board is not touched. The only way to shut off the water is turn off the water valve or disconnect the water filter. I unplugged the fridge and the same persisted. Do you have any idea what's causing this? Thanks.

Hi,

I unplugged the fridge and the same persisted.

That would point to the fill valve mechanically sticking open.
Might be a good idea to try a new fill valve.

Hi Jeff, thanks for your reply. Could you please clarify whether a fill valve is the same as an inlet valve?
