Good morning,

Last night the ice and water dispenser decided to just stop working. The front panel display functions perfectly. The switch clicks and I verified with my Fluke the paddle switch does function correctly. (Makes and breaks contact when pushed). The ice maker makes perfectly. I verified proper pressure at the supply line and changed out the built in filter with a new unit. I entered diagnostic mode and there are no codes showing. I’m assuming the supply line is split so that the ice make gets water all the time and the dispenser solenoid is separate? I thought it may be a bad control/dispenser board but the display shows no issues with its function. I’m leaning towards a bad water supply solenoid. Does this sound right? Any other possibilities? Thanks for any help you can offer!
Best regards,
Bob M

Jake,
Thanks for the reply and the video! Do you agree with my thought that it’s the inlet valve that is causing the issue? Like I said it makes Ice fine but does not dispense water. If so I’ll order it as soon as I hear from you.

Jake one other thing I forgot to mention is although the ice maker makes ice fine it does not dispense it if select cube/crushed on the panel and press the lever.

Yes, if you use a multimeter to check for 120 volts at the electrical connector of the water dispenser solenoid side of the water inlet valve and no water comes out, when you press the water dispenser lever, then the water inlet valve is bad.

Here's your service manual: https://drive.google.com/file/d/19vxtD6anfrds72r-uePO6_hXbfnlOkdm/view?usp=share_link you'd need to check for voltage at the dispenser switch from the control board.
