I have this Samsung french door refrigerator with the ice maker in the refrigerator section. Ice forms on the inside of the ice maker housing and eventually the ice maker quits and the bin can not be pulled out do to the build up of ice. It is not the ice maker or water tube. Ice maker tests fine after thawing out the build up of ice. The problem will return about every 4 months, Talking to a couple of technicians they mentioned a fix that Samsung had put out. It requires a sealant, a kit, and a new ice maker. The sealant is DA81-05595A, a silicon sealant. The kit part number is DA82-02367A, two appliance clips and some plastic piece. And as mentioned, a new updated ice maker assembly.
Question: Does this remedy the problem?
I will post some pics in a bit.

Yes, I located the service bulletin on this problem. I'm attaching it below.

It also does say to REPLACE THE ICE MAKER IN ALL CASES.:)

Great! This sounds much easier than the "fix" Frigidaire put out. (I think it was Frigidaire). Had to dismantle the ice box and add insulation... Awful.
As always, much appreciated. 👍

Glad to help.:)
