I have a Samsung RF28R7201DT. Without turning off the water supply, I easily removed the old water filter. But, I had to turn the old filter 180 degrees (not 90 as the manual suggests). I CANNOT get either the new or the old filter to reseat properly, and I've put as much inward pressure as I dare to get the collars to engage and lock. They simply will not. I DID turn off the [water] supply and relieve all pressure from the entire house. Still no go. The replacement filter is a Samsung-certified replacement and appears identical to the old filter, and, something's wrong in the filter housing because I can't get either filter to re-install. Help appreciated!!
