Hi All
I have a 10 month old Richmond water heater. Several days ago the pilot went out. I tried re-lighting with no success. I verified the thermocouple is in the flame.
I bought a new direct-replacement thermocouple and still no pilot. I verified that the glass tube in the FVIR is intact. I am now suspecting the gas valve, and purchased a new one at the local Menards. Hoever, the pipe threads are too short, even tthough it is the recommended part number.
Yes, I have tried calling Richmond, and Rheem. The option for homwowners constantly says that my call cannot be completed.
Does anyone know of the correct part number for the longer pipe threads?
