Have you tried using the liquid rinse agent? The new dishwashers must use the rinse agent to dry properly. Some pods have 'rinse agent' in them, but those often are ineffective.
Even though your dishwasher has an heating element, it is used for heating water during the wash and not heating the dishes after the wash. Without the rinse agent (liquid), water accumulates around the sides and ceiling of the wash tub and eventually can drop onto the dishes after the completion of the wash cycle.
Also, ensure the water temperature is at least 120 degrees to the dishwasher.
