Samsung Dishwasher 5E error code

Hello, I've had this dishwasher since 2008 and haven't had any issues with it until recently. It's now ending it's wash cycle and showing the 5E code. Which is for discharge pump/ clogged drain hose. The drain hose isn't kinked , clogged etc. But, after removing the pump from it's housing I've found a small rubber flapper valve. It looks to be out of place but, not sure what port or ports it is supposed to be blocking. Does anyone have pics or any knowledge on where this is supposed to be. I tried Samsung and their tech support if laughable. Thanks in advance!

Yes, I love Samsung TV's and computer monitors, but they should of stuck with that, as their appliances are not top notch(contrary to what Consumer Reports says) and your exactly right about the tech. support being laughable if you can even get tech. support.

Thats why I always tell my customers stay away from LG, Samsung, Bosch.

They have a long ways to go to catch up with the big boys, Whirlpool - Maytag - Frigidaire - KitchenAid.

Hopefully another tech. or member that sees your thread and had the same issue can tell you how to fix it.

Any luck in solving your problem ? Was the rubber valve in the pump the problem ?
I have the same issue but with a different dishwasher model (samsung DMR77LHS).
I see your post is old so if by any chance you came to a solution, I would appreciate you share it.
I've checked the drain hose on mine as the manual states and it's not bent or clogged.

Ok, there is a service manual on this model that has come out since the last time I posted above in 2010.

I'm attaching the service manual below, hope this helps with your model as well.
