DW80R7061UG - Dishwasher will not fill on any cycle type(normal, heavy, delicate...etc) Produces no error code except when I run the post install "test cycle" then I get a PC error code, 4 bing bongs then the drain pump runs for a few seconds, then the 4 bing bongs again. That cycle repeats until I cut the power.
Manufactured 9/2020
Confirmed the water inlet solenoid is good. When I put 120v to it, it opens and water flows.
Replaced computer board with a known good one and get exact same symptoms.
Manifold motor also confirmed operational along with the associated cam switch.
Maybe the dishwasher thinks it's full of water already?? The wash cycle seem to progress even though there is no water. I hear relays click and the cycle timer continues to count down. No error code is displayed.
My old dishwasher had a float switch but this one does not(at least not that I can find). How do these new dishwashers know if they're full of water or not??

Searched online and found very little useful info about the PC error code. Mostly things like this: PC error occurs when the zone wash function is not working correctly

Anyone have a schematic or the service manual for this model?
Any assistance would be appreciated. I really can't afford to buy a new one right now.
Thank you

Hi,

Sorry, we couldn't locate the service manual or tech. data sheet for this model to help you out, hopefully another tech or member that has it or knows what will solve this problem, can share it with you to fix your "no fill" dishwasher.

I'm not familiar with Samsung dishwashers or I would help you fix it.

Other than that, you can contact Samsung at 1-800-SAMSUNG (726-7864) and have them come out to see what's going on.

Thank you for the response.
I did a bit more troubleshooting. If I start a cycle and wait about a minute or so I can open the door pour water into the dishwasher and it will wash so it seems the only problem is the signal is not being sent to energize the fill solenoid. I did swap out the main computer/relay board with no change but there is another small circuit board that connects to the control panel and to the main computer/relay board. Maybe that's the problem. I hate throwing parts at it but with no schematic or service manual that may be my only option. One way or another I am going to get this thing working. All the discreet components are working. Pumps, motors solenoids...etc so it has to be a cable or circuit board issue...I think :)
I still don't understand how the dishwasher knows if it's full of water or empty. There is no float switch. Maybe it is just timed? Like the solenoid is energized for 1 minute or something like that. I doubt it because depending on the water pressure you could end up over or under filled. Maybe it uses the turbidity sensor??
Well, I'm off to F with it some more.

Those are good questions but without the tech data sheet or service manual there is no way to know how how to test the turbidity sensor.

Did you ever solve this? I have the exact same problem

Unfortunately, no. It's infuriating, you spend $1k on a f*cking dishwasher and the second it is out of warranty it fails and you can't get your hands on a schematic to try to figure out what is going on. It's BS, I have the one error code, "PC", that there's no fix for? Really?
It's sitting in the basement waiting for me to have the time to f*ck with it some more or put a tannerite charge in it and blow it to pieces. F*ck you Samsung.

Hi crazy4life, I have the same exact problem and did pretty much everything you did. Thank god for returns. I've replaced, the inlet valve, door assembly, soap dispenser, main control board, and door control board. I've tested with a multimeter ohms on the water inlet valve, turbidity solenoid, , soap dispensor and spray motor (s). Added water in to see if the cycle would wash and it did just fine until it drained and didn't fill back up. Filled again and it completed the cycle. When I test the voltage to the water inlet valve, I am getting 26vac. I should be getting 120vac. I've changed out the main control board 3 times now. I've pretty much replaced everything with known good parts, tested for ohms and continuity. This is a ghost problem for sure with nothing online to help. Im running out of option and the last thing I am going to do is switch out the wiring harness to see if that is a possibility it shorted somewhere and last is run a test cycle again and see if it pops up a code. UGH....

If you get it figured out please post the fix here. And if anyone has, or knows where I can get, schematics for this model please let me know.
