My Samsung Linear Wash dishwasher is only a year old. It recently had an issue where the bottom left side rack would have dirty dishes after the cycle was completed. I read online that the reflector bar had a magnet in it that may need replacement. I have replaced the magnet in the bar with the same OEM part, but still have the issue. I've also noticed that the reflector bar continuously moves back and forth when it is powered on as if it can't sense its positioning.

I also have ran the self-clean cycle and checked the filter, but nothing. Also ran a diagnostic test but no error codes were presented.

Video showing the issue:

Any idea what might be causing this?

I have the same model with the exact same issue, and it stops at the front of the dishwasher instead of the rear. Did you ever find out the cause?

We have the same issue with the bar stuck in the front so nothing on the bottom rack gets clean. We purchased it May 2020 when we bought our house. If we spend the money to fix it will it be an o going issue or better to replace?

Same problem here. I manually pushed it to the rear and placed a camera to see if it will move. When the cycle starts, it successfully goes back and forth(which is a testing phase before any cycle starts to check if waterwall bar can move properly, is not blocked, etc...). But, at the end of every cycle, it gets stuck in front. And, when it is stuck in front, it doesn't move in the next cycle. Also, it won't show any error code. I think it is related to the behavior change that Samsung introduced. In one of the service bulletin it says: "Important Note: In addition to the part changes, the 7C error code will no longer stop the dishwasher from operating and no error will be displayed. Instead, if the Assy Vane is blocked or separated from the Assy Motion, the water wall portion of the dishwasher will stop operating and the cycle will complete using only the middle and top spray arms". I have attached the bulletin.

I haven't placed a camera to record the whole cycle yet. But, my guess is that the motor is weak, and when the water jet is hitting it, it doesn't have enough power to move so it gets stuck. That's why it can move at the beginning of the cycle without water jet, but gets stuck during the cycle.

Did you guys find anything or tried to make it repaired?

Question regarding this water wall or vane is what I believe they are calling it. Does it actually snap onto the rail that moves front to back? Mine came off and it looks like it snaps on but can’t seem to get it to snap on. Maybe I’m afraid to push hard enough or maybe it’s broken but doesn’t appear to be.

Hi, I haven't worked on any Samsung dishwashers, hopefully the people in this thread can answer that question for you.

Also, you can check Youtube to see how it goes on.

I tried finding something on YouTube specifically about this model but can’t and didn’t see anything on whether they just lay on or snap onto the rail.
