Hello,

Once my dryer gets going, it’s starting to make a squeaking sound and based on my research, it may be the rollers, idle pulley or belt. I see there is a kit on Amazon that has replacement parts but wanted to be sure that it’s the right diagnosis. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

After doing some more research on this forum, I will not be buying that kit from Amazon. I’m hoping someone can help me isolate the issue so I can order the right part from a reputable appliance part site.

Yes, that sounds like either the idler pulley or rollers making that noise. You'd need to disconnect power to the dryer and open it up to see which is the part making that noise. The idler pulley and rollers should turn free both ways smoothly.

Here's the Idler Pulley for your model(Video Included):
Idler Assembly DC93-00634A

Here's the belt for your model(Video Included):
Drive Belt 6602-001655

Here's the drum roller for your model(Your model takes 4 drum rollers, so I'd order 4 drum rollers(Video Included):
Drum Support Roller & Axle DC97-16782A

Let us know what you find.
