Hello everyone.
What an absolute abomination of an appliance.

I'll get right to it.
No power to this thing all of a sudden.
Check power at the unit, good.
Killed the power over night.
Power back on in morning.
Nothing.

I searched on here and came up with the display control board first. So,
Tried changing the display control board. DD92-00037B nothing.

What's next?
The Power Board #DD92-00033C?

Ryan.

Hi,

Check power at the unit, good.
How was that checked?
We see many loose wire nuts where the power comes into the d/w.

What's next?
If the key panel did not help, might as well try the main board.

First, put my meter probes into the wire nuts, and there was power.
Then removed the wire nuts and re-attached them. Thinking the same thing.

Main board will hopefully be here by Friday.

Got the power board, the DD92-0033C actually it's a rev B but I highly doubt that matters.

Tried that. Didn't work either.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

What's next, besides the dumpster.

Jeff, I'm certainly not questioning your knowledge, but if the B to C makes a difference on the same part number than Samsung is even worse than I thought. That would be a horrible method to numbering parts. In my world (automotive) that's just a rev up.

Anyway,

Model- DV80F600UTS

Those are zeros in the S/N not "ohs"

Anything after the AA? Or post a picture of the model/serial tag.

I found DW80F600UTS/AA-00 DW80F600UTS/AA-0000 DW80F600UTS/AA-0001 DW80F600UTS/AA-01

DW80F600UTS/AA-00
Touchpad
Display board
Power control board
Noise Filter

DW80F600UTS/AA-0000 got an error, couldn't look up anything.
DW80F600UTS/AA-0001 got an error, couldn't look up anything.

DW80F600UTS/AA-01
Touchpad
Display board
Main Control Board
Noise Filter

Of the 2 I could look up the key panals appear the same but the pcboards are different.

Nope that's all the data.

I tried the touch-pad.
How can the display board cause a no power issue? Isn't that just LED's.
The noise filter on the schematic just looks like it's in parallel to the circuit off the heater, drain pump and washer motor. Neither of which SHOULD cause a no power situation.

Interestingly enough, the part number on the power control board I have is DE41-00391A. Neither of which show up on your query? Why is that? Actually the one I replaced it with has the same part number on the board. I don't see the DD92-00037A or B anywhere?

unnamed.jpg

I do have power into the board at the "live" terminal. T201
Terminal CN101 the Red plug on the far left also has power into the board with the jumper wire.

I don't see anything after the model#.....as the version number was just kinda floating in the air on the tag so it looks like DW80F600UTS/AA-00 should be the correct parts lookup.

I picked them also at the same time as other Samsung d/w's have had to have these replaced for dead issues. I don't have a wire diagram in front of me but a line filter is more often than not in the main power supply.

Well I've tried the Touch pad, power control board, and the noise filter.
NOTHING.
So tomorrow I'm trying my credit card at Best Buy for a Bosch 500 series.

Not that there's any reason for anyone who comes here to doubt it, but if you stumble upon this, Samsung should only make TV's.

Jeff, I do thank you for your help with this, unless you have a last ditch effort idea....it's gone.

Jeff, that is certainly the consensus.

I'm not 100% giving up on this thing, just back burner it. Tired of doing the dishes by hand with my 8month old tugging on me. 1st world problems to be sure.
If I can eventually figure it out, I'm going to install it in my basement.
I have a full "retro" kitchen down there so for big family gatherings, it would be nice to have two washers running.

In light of that aside from metering every single piece of electronics, do you have any other ideas?

I have an issue with no power as well. I contacted warrantech through which I have my extended warranty. They issued me check for $106 and said they were no longer responsible!!!!!????? I bought this at HHGreg. Isn’t that fraud. I bought insurance and they can just say they aren’t going to fix it. Has anyone else had this problem?

Same here. Purchased in January 2015. Died yesterday 6/10/19. Piece of junk. No power, nothing. Circuit breaker is good, power outlet good. Totally dead. Called Samsung and they set me up for a service call, $109 to get a technician to come out. Forget that! I'll go buy a Whirlpool. Last one I had lasted for almost 20 years. Run away from Samsung model DW80F600UTS -- (sn B00AG9MFB07064W). I bought mine at Lowes.

Pretty strange that all of ours died at about the same time... can someone say, engineered to fail.
