I have a Samsung DW80K7050UG/AA dishwasher loud after the drain cycle runs. At first I thought it might be the drain pump, but after listening closely to several cycles I can tell it's not when it's draining but right after that step. What happens right after the draining step, and what part would that be?

After the drain cycle it should fill again for the rinse cycle. So that would possibly be the water inlet valve: Valve-Water;troika Pjt,n DC62-30314L

Do you hear it re-filling with water after the drain cycle? Then that loud noise is present while its filling with water? Or does this happen at the FINAL DRAIN? OR AFTER ALL DRAIN CYCLES?

After listening again it does seem to be load when it is refilling with water. It is loud after each drain cycle, several times during a total wash cycle.

Thank you very much for pointing me to the service manual! Will come in useful for checking the valve. Will update if I find anything.

(OEM new replacements are not cheap! May need to hit ebay for a used one.)

Replaced the inlet valve and the sound is back to normal. Thanks for the assist Jake!
