Dryer operates but no heat and no error code is being displayed. I checked for 240 volts across the power terminals and that is good. From the other posts I take it may next check is to remove the thermal fuse and heating elements and check for continuity across the terminals. I will follow-up after I remove the fuse and hearting element tomorrow. Regards, Chris

Hi Chris, Yes First unplug the dryer and ohm test the heating element and thermal fuse on the heater housing.

Here's the thermal fuse on the heater housing:
DC96-00887C




Here's the heating element:
Heating Element DC47-00019A

AGAIN--->Make sure you unplug the dryer first before accessing it and ohm testing it.

Hi Jake, the fuse continuity was fine but the heating element was not. I went ahead and ordered both since the dryer is 14 years old and I have it opened up. I will let you know if that solved the problem once the parts arrived. Thanks again for your help. The videos make it very easy to disassemble the machine.

Evening Jake, The parts came in today and I installed them following the video...which was great. It walked me through every step. Put it all back together and success....it is fixed. The dryer heats and works fine. Thanks for the guidance, the videos and the parts help. Regards, Chris
