I bought some replacement model HAF-CIN/EXP filters (replacement cartridge DA29-00020B) for my RF28HMEDBSR fridge. A couple days after installing one, we noticed a bunch of water on the floor under the fridge. There was also water under the crisper drawers and below the pullout drawing. I determined the leak was coming out from where the filter meets the filter housing. I tried the second filter and that one leaked as well. I pulled the filter and the dripping stopped.

Since these were genuine Samsung replacement filters, I thought the issue was the filter housing the filters rotate into. I bought a new DA97-08006D filter assembly case and installed it. As soon as I put one of the new filters in, the leaks started again. I pulled the filter back out and the leak stopped.

It seems like the cause of the leaks would be the filters from what I see.

Does that make sense?
Is there something else I should be considering?
Would Samsung warranty these if they were not purchased directly from Samsung?

Thanks
