FIXED Samsung microwave ME21H706MQG stays powered up 10 minutes, loud hum while idle

MW Only stays powered up for about 10 minutes. Has a loud hum while sitting idle. Hum will quit when door is opened.
Top and R-side case get hot, smells hot, than goes dead black. Seems to reset itself and will repeat after it cools down about an hour.
Transformer bad? Switch's bad?
Something is causing a load, get's hot and lose's all power.
Any Help? Please

Sounds like the control board. Nothing should be powered when it's off. Check to see if you have any voltage going to the transformer when it's off.

Rick; tnks for the reply. Makes sense what you say. What I'm hearing is the mw tube, but no fan is causing the over heat issue
and eventual thermo safety shutdown.
Any Idea if the relays on the CB are available individually.

I couldn't tell you. It's probably a stuck relay but can be almost anything.

Of the two larger relays, the one closest to the row of 9-small relays is powered up. When-----------------
unit is plugged in but not activated, (Idle).

I don't have the wiring diagram for that model. Without it I couldn't tell you what that relay is.

Goes to the transformer on bottom of case. Tapped on relay and it released. All is working normal.
