hi, have the above microwave with the noted issued. have read that it might be an easy repair. is it possible to access the electronics without removing it from above the stove? thanks in advance.

Unplug the machine. Remove the control panel and check the the door switches for continuity by opening and closing the door.

Thanks. How do you remove the control panel? Can it be accessed without taking the whole microwave down? Only see 2 screws on the left side...

Only see 2 screws on the left side...

Remove those screws and the control will fold down or lift off out of the way.
