Samsung Microwave turns itself on when you shut the door

7/10 times when I shut the microwave door it will turn itself on. I don’t think it is heating anything, just turn on the light and spins the tray.

It’s just over 2 years old. Does anyone have any clue as how to solve this issue?

I should note, that when it turns itself on, you just need to nudge the door in a little and it will stop spinning and the light will shut off. Maybe there’s something wrong with the door?

Check the door interlocks for continuity by opening and closing the door. Without a model number we're dead in the water.

I have the same problem, my model number is ME19R7041FS/AA

Just as Flip says when I nudge the door, it stops.

Sounds like a bad interlock switch.

Could you recomment the part for model Samsung ME19R7041FS ?

Samsung refunded the entire cost, but I am trying to see if I can fix it. If not, I will sell it.

Check the interlock switches for continuity and replace the one that's bad. Might just need an adjustment.
