I have a Samsung Gas Range FB710 BGS changed over to propane. I very rarely use the big center oval element. I believe 2 times since I got the range in 2014. A week ago I tried to make pancakes and it took forever to get hot. About 2 years ago I made steak on it, which would not have worked with the way it was heating up now. I checked the flames, which were even, blue but fairly small.

Turning the knob from low to med and high changes the flame size maybe 5% if that. Brass orifice read size 083 and is clean. Before I arrange a service call I thought I contact you:I am not sure if I just imagine that the flames worked differently or were bigger and reacted to the knob before, or if this was always that way – I think I would have noticed. Is there anything I can check? Any input would be appreciated. I tried to adjust the flames with the screw driver in the knob stem.

There absolutely no change in the flame size, no matter how much I turn it right or left.
