I have a Samsung RS25H5111SR side-by-side fridge.

The freezer side is working fine but the fridge side is not cooling.

I set the fridge to 39 deg F but it returns to 59 deg F. I unplugged the unit for 5 minutes then plugged it back in but no luck--it still returns to 59 deg F.

Please provide suggestions on how to properly diagnose and repair the Samsung RS25H5111SR issue. Thank you.

Hi,

Do you hear the fan running in your fresh food section?

Remove the evaporator cover in the fresh food section to see the frost pattern on your evaporator coil.

Here's the evaporator cover for your model for the fresh food section:
DA97-08724N Evaporator Cover

When you click the part link to it, you will see a video on how to remove it.

I have not been able to pull the evaporator cover yet because it appears to be frozen shut (see attached).

What expectations are reasonable at this point? Thank you.

Is that fan on it running?

De-ice it all and see.

De-iced it all and the fan seems to be running. Thank you very much.

I will create a new post about the ice maker issue next.
