Is there any way to set the water temperature to cold by default? Model WA50R5200AW always starts at hot when turned on, we would rather use more cold.

Your need to check the owners manual and see.

If you set it on COLD/COLD and getting HOT/HOT, then you have your HOT and COLD fill hoses reversed.

No not that, when you start the machine It starts as hot you have to manually select cold. The manual doesn't say anything.

Oh, I see what you mean, then you have a problem for sure, contact Samsung at 1-800-SAMSUNG (726-7864) and have them come out under warranty to fix it for free.
