I have a problem with the fabric softener tray dispenser area. Some time back, I would notice when opening the tray to let it air out, the fabric softener tray would be full of water and drain down into the machine. I recently had to replace the water inlet valves, and now it seems the fabric softener either isn't getting used or there is a diluted mixture left in the tray that doesn't always drain when the compartment is opened. Do I have a fab. softener tray problem and just need to replace that particular tray or is there another issue?

Turns out the problem was the water valve. The solenoid that sends water to the softener side was not working. Replaced the water valve and everything works as it should.
