We have had to replace the control panel for our LG dishwasher twice in 18 months. Symptoms are always the same. Dishwasher will intermittently not power on from control panel, then within a day stops responding completely to "Power" on the touch panel.
Cycling mains power doesn't fix. Replacing the CP at $200+ a pop is the only solution. We use the dishwasher usually once a day, but this just seems unacceptably poor reliability. We live in a relatively benign SoCal climate, so I can only assume there is some major design flaw in the design of the CP. Any suggestions as to how to prolong the life of the latest CP - or get rid of the LG while it still works?
