• ** REMEMBER! **The microwave can still shock you even unplugged!!

ALWAYS discharge the high-voltage capacitor first if you even think your hands will come close to any HIGH VOLTAGE components.

Jeff mentions this: Anything in the high voltage ( magnetron, capacitor, diode, wires to and from ):
...Use a metal ( not the shiny chrome type ) screw driver with a insulated handle to short across ( touch both at the same time ) the terminals of the high voltage capacitor to discharge it.

The touch control panel consists of circuits including semiconductors such as LSI, ICs, etc. and unlike conventional microwave ovens, proper testing cannot be done with only a voltmeter and ohmmeter. The touch control panel assembly is divided into two units, Control Unit and Key Unit, and also the Control Unit is divided into two units, LSI Unit and Power Unit. Your symptoms indicate the problem is probably in the control unit. I'll give you the part numbers for both parts of the control unit. However, both parts have been discontinued by the manufacturer and show as no longer available. Whichever part you replaced, replace the other part. Here's the part numbers: CPWBFB060MRU0 and FPNLCB372MRK0

Hello,

Just in case, also check the ribbon cable and its connector (if any) between the LCD display and the control unit PCB board for tears and/or bad connections; spray connector end with contact cleaner. All the best with progress.
