• ** REMEMBER! **The microwave can still shock you even unplugged!!

    ALWAYS discharge the high-voltage capacitor first if you even think your hands will come close to any HIGH VOLTAGE components.

    Jeff mentions this: Anything in the high voltage ( magnetron, capacitor, diode, wires to and from ):
    ...Use a metal ( not the shiny chrome type ) screw driver with a insulated handle to short across ( touch both at the same time ) the terminals of the high voltage capacitor to discharge it.

Sharp Carousel R-320D Display is blank

I own a Sharp Carousel R-320D Microwave. Few months back, I noticed that the time display went blank. The problem was intermittent & at times the display did work. Now, it has gone blank for quite some time. Any idea what could be wrong?

Hi,

I found R-320DK, R-320DQ, R-320DW.

I noticed that the time display went blank. The problem was intermittent & at times the display did work. Now, it has gone blank for quite some time. Any idea what could be wrong?
Normally a bad display and PCboard....which often is BIG$$. :(
