• ** REMEMBER! **The microwave can still shock you even unplugged!!

ALWAYS discharge the high-voltage capacitor first if you even think your hands will come close to any HIGH VOLTAGE components.

Jeff mentions this: Anything in the high voltage ( magnetron, capacitor, diode, wires to and from ):
...Use a metal ( not the shiny chrome type ) screw driver with a insulated handle to short across ( touch both at the same time ) the terminals of the high voltage capacitor to discharge it.

I have a Sharp model #R-410AK. Everything about the microwave is working fine. The only problem I have noticed is parts of my digital display is missing which makes it hard to read the time. Can you provide me a link for the part and how to replace it?

Thanks!

Control boards are often the most expensive part of a consumer grade microwave. Sharp lists two boards for your unit (both over $100) and they often like to have the display and control separate requiring you to de-solder and then re-solder the new boards.
