I have a new dishwasher that’s about 1.5 yrs old and intermittently, it will start filling the tub with water and eventually tripping the leak sensor. I’ve replaced the inlet valve and the issue is still there. This is happening when the dishwasher is completely off. Thanks in advance for any help.

I think the inlet valve may be squirting water up at the humidity release vent. Which is circled by your editing. It is enough to drain back into the tub. Usually the dishwasher will throw a fault code and cycle the drain pump to empty the tub and tray, to keep flooding. But that is with the water tripping the sensor.

You need to pull the dishwasher out and check the fill valve hose feed connections. One of which is near the vent area. It could be loose factory fit, or cracked from shipping.
