I have a Speed Queen dryer that is not heating and I can't figure out why. I have taken it apart and here is what I know... The heating element is fine. Visually checked and continuity tested. I tested both the Thermal Fuse and Thermostat for continuity, which they both had, but I installed new ones anyway because I had these parts on hand. I replaced the Fabric Selector switch because they are cheap. I tested voltage at the outlet. I inspected all wires and terminals and found no issues. I checked the terminal block. No issues there either. I checked the cycling thermostat for continuity... It passed. I believe that the dryer timer could be the culprit but I do not know how to test this. Can anyone offer some knowledge on this or maybe some direction on what I might be missing? Any help would be appreciated.

I couldn't locate the schematics or wiring diagram for your model, that would help see if the problem is your timer.

I'd hate to see you order a timer and that not fix it just by guessing, see what I mean?

But if everything else checks good, then its a good chance it is a timer problem.

Thanks for the reply. The problem was the timer. I happened to have another dryer of the exact model at my facility so I just did a quick swap and she fired right up.
