squeaking dryer

My dad and I opened up the dryer that is squeaking when clothes are in it. I had bought a new belt thinking it was the belt - but the belt looked fine. Here is what we saw - on the front part of the dryer - there were three thin white plastic pieces that looked really worn and rubbed. One was even partially gone. Do these need replaced and if so - where do I order them or buy them? They are on a felt material - do I just glue the new ones on? Is this the reason for the squeaking?

Also, something else we saw that looked weird was towards the back of the dryer drum there was a piece of felt about 2 inches wide and maybe 6 or 7 inches long that had been stapled down. It no longer is stapled and it looks partially burnt. What is this - is it necessary to have - should it be replaced and would it be causing the dryer to squeak also?

Ok, yes, I have had many Frigidaire dryers have the squeaking noise.

You will need to replace that front felt with the plastic glides on it, and you will also need to check your rear bearing, and I recommend replacing that as well.
