Howdy folks,

I have a GE Profile double range oven that is making a squealing noise anytime the oven is turned on, during running, and then for about 30 minutes after the oven is "turned off." The noise is coming not from the top control panel, but behind a panel that is in between the top and the bottom oven. The noise is not coming from the convection fan - I've checked both of those when running and they are quiet.

I did some research on these forums and looked at about 3 threads that had a similar problem to mine. I'm leaning towards this being a cooling fan issue for the lower oven unit, but I'm not 100% sure. I wanted to a take from someone much more experienced than me hence the reason for my post. My hope is that someone could confirm my suspicion and if that's the case, help guide me to the right part number that I need in order to make the replacement.

GE Oven Model Number - JT952SK4SS

I took a video of the oven while it makes the noise and posted it to youtube so there's a reference point for someone to listen to. I moved the camera around to show the sound gets weaker when you go to the control panel but louder when you go to that panel in between the top / bottom oven.

Any guidance is appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Thanks Colin!

This looks to be your lower oven cooling fan motor:
Fan Assembly WB26X114

Unfortunately I was not able to locate a video or service manual that tells you how to access/replace it. But when you click the link to that motor you will see a Question and Answer section and they can likely tell you how.

Thanks Jake. I really appreciate the help. I just placed an order for that part through the link you supplied and will pull the oven out next week to make the repair.

Thank you again!
