• ** REMEMBER! **The microwave can still shock you even unplugged!!

ALWAYS discharge the high-voltage capacitor first if you even think your hands will come close to any HIGH VOLTAGE components.

Jeff mentions this: Anything in the high voltage ( magnetron, capacitor, diode, wires to and from ):
...Use a metal ( not the shiny chrome type ) screw driver with a insulated handle to short across ( touch both at the same time ) the terminals of the high voltage capacitor to discharge it.

Hi all,

I am looking to replace my Frigidaire CFMV157GC with a microwave of similar or identical dimensions. I'm not all that handy so I would like to re-use my existing bracket if possible. My question is: Is there any easy way to find some suitable Frigidaire microwaves of similar dimensions and mounting bracket? I would imagine this is actually an easy question but I have had no luck with it so far. These are the dimensions I have been able to find for a CFMV157GC:

DIMENSIONS
Width 29.88 inch(es) / 75.9 cm
Height 15.75 inch(es) / 40.0 cm
Depth (Without Handle) 15.04 inch(es) / 38.2 cm
Weight 63.05 lb(s) / 28.6 kg

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks.
