Good morning,

I'm looking for a compatible switch for the oven door of my Jenn Air Range. The current switch (part # ASP2931-103) is no longer available as this unit is about 20 years old. It's a 1A switch. Any suggestions on a compatible switch?

Thanks

I've checked Ebay and some local places but nothing yet. I'm wondering if I can adapt a newer switch? I mentioned the 1A because the newer switches seem to be 1.5A and I'm not sure how much of a difference that makes.

Thanks

Okay, I've replaced the door latch, the door pressure switch, and the fan switch. The oven cleaning function worked for about 40 minutes before a continuous beeping started and an F2 error message appeared. Google says, replace relay (if present) or oven temperature sensor . Does that sound about right or is there a way to test for either of those conditions.

Thanks
Mike

Check the temp sensor and wiring to AND from the sensor first.

Most should ohm between 1000-1100 at room temp.

Also check the door lock, door lock switches AND the wires to and from the door lock because if the range thinks the door is not locked and gets up to 600ºF we will also get an F2.

Lastly could be a stuck relay on the controls.

Both the relay board and clock/control are coming up as NLA.

Thanks Jeff.

I checked the temp sensor and it's fine. The door lock, door lock switches and the wires all appear to be working fine. What is the relay that could be stuck? I've had luck finding parts on ebay so maybe I can find the relay as well.
