Hi All - First and foremost, a big thank you for this platform and the detailed explanations in this thread. @rickgburton @sevencube

I have a slightly different Thermador model (a double electric wall oven, model S302TS) but with an eerily similar issue. None of the ovens were heating and both were displaying 100F when put on any of the programs (Bake, etc.).

After trying all that was mentioned in the above thread, we got them to heat up by forcing the sail switch on "on", after having removed and put back the SFR. Though, we noticed that the blower of the lower oven is no longer working. It is powered but the engine must be broken as it does not turn -it gets hot and vibrates but does not turn even after trying to manually kick it in.

I ordered 2 SFRs to replace them just in case for $20 but I can't find a replacement for the lower cooling fan. Any clue for a workaround? Would a generic fan be available to replace it?

Thank you for all you insights. Attaching a few more info:

  • Diagram of the oven

Thanks Dan! Yes, that's the exhaust fan that is broken. Perfect, I ordered the piece and it should come next week. Keeping you posted on the progress once changed.
