Arizona is an exception to that rule when it comes to Daylight Saving Time in the United States.

Most of Arizona has no Daylight Saving Time due to the extreme summer heat, the sooner the sun goes down, the faster it cools at night, but even at that overnight temps can still stay in the upper 80's to 90's all night long.

All of the state of Arizona, except the Navajo Nation community, observe Mountain Standard Time (MST) all year long. MST is also known as the Mountain Time Zone and is seven hours behind (UTC-7) Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).

Yupper, we have one stubborn province up here that doesn't change for day light savings time either.
