I'm working on a Viking gas stove (model VGSU1626BSSLP). The front left burner (largest burner) has gas, but when I turn the knob there is no spark at the igniter. All of the 5 other burners spark and light. Is this likely a bad igniter? If so, does anyone know how I get access to replace the igniter? Any help greatly appreciated.

Meant to also add that all burners click, including the non-sparking burner, when I turn the knob. if I manually light the larger burner, clicking continues.

Bad wiring to it, shorting to other surfaces, or a poorly grounded burner are also possibilities.

Thanks! Do you know how I can get access to the igniter to check? I looked online but Viking doesn't have much out there in the way of manuals (other than care) or wiring diagrams.

Igniter started sparking again out of the blue today, and everything works fine even after 20 separate attempts. I was thinking about using soft metal brushes and electrical contact cleaner on the burner and igniter. Or should I just leave it alone? Also, does the fact that it wasn't working and now does narrow what could be the problem? I suspect not but thought I would ask. Thanks!

Cleaning the ignitor and mating surface on the burner might help if that was the cause. You might wait until the failure occurs again though.

Is this normal behavior, (all 6 igniters click, when one knob it turned on) I just noticed mine does that and thought something was wrong,
or is normal behavior, a single igniter clicks, when the corresponding knob is turned on
