i have taken timers out of kenmore or whirlpool top load washers and the model#'s of the timers were like 3351811C andwhen i look up that part to see how much a replacement is i cant find the part with the C on the end. but there istimer that is just 3351811 but no C on the end. I guess my question is what does the C and the end of the model # mean and will just the part labled 3351811 workin place of the the timer i have 3351811C? I have also seen them with a B or A at the end of the model # of the timers. thanx

Hi,

Letters usually mean something to the part manufacture ( like time of the year made/ect ) but the part# does appear to be correct without the letter.

It also subs.

The manufacturer has replaced part number 3351811 with this item, part number 3946430

Timer assembly
