Hello everyone,

I'm new here to this site, and honestly to DIY. I'm trying to figure out what my issue is with my washer and I was hoping that everyone here could assist me.

My washer recently stopped spinning, and draining its water. When it tries to move on from filling the tub it starts to make a grinding noise and then stops working. If I try to turn it back on it makes a noise (I guess it almost sounds like clicking) but it does nothing, and it won't for at least 30 minutes. Now if I put the drain tube on the ground it will drain, but still at the moment my washer isn't function.

Anyone have any ideas what the problem could be?

Hi Josh,

You may have something stuck/jammed in your water pump, that would make the motor hum or click but not run to pump the water out on its own. I'd check that first.

Here's the water pump for your model:
Drain Pump 3363394 Order now for same day shipping. 365 day return policy. RepairClinic.com

Here's a video on how to access it:

When getting the water pump off without flooding your house, I use a pinch off tool, you can buy it at Sears:
Craftsman 2.5 in. Hose Pinch Off Tool

You pinch the tub-to-pump rubber hose off.

Keep us posted.
