Water in ducts

My son turned on the sink on the 2nd floor and left it on. It overflowed and went down the vents, and stained the 1st floor ceiling. We dried up what we could, and have a dehumidifier going to hopefully dry the ceiling.

The floor vent in the upstairs bathroom has no AC coming out. I reach in and feel water. I get the wet dry vac and hook up some hose and push down as far as I can. I suck out all the water I can but still no air. What kind of trouble am I looking at? I have an upstairs unit and downstairs unit, but I can find where the duct goes. Would it come out somewhere in the crawl space?

Sorry for the length of post, but this place is full of handy men that will have some ideas.

We won't be able to help you. That's more of an HVAC installer issue. We have no way of knowing how the duct work was installed.
