Hi,

I have a whirlpool washer that is about 23 years old. After the washer has finished its cycle, I am getting a small dip that is coming from the area where the washer fills up the tub. It will continue to drip into the tub even days after the washer has been used. I shut off the water to the washer, and the drip will continue for about 10 to 20 minutes. When in use, the washer fills up the same that it always has in the past. It just continues to drip after the washer is done. I am afraid that it will not stop filling during a rinse cycle and cause a flood. Any ideas what it might be?

Thank You in advance,

Ronald

I ordered the part, watched the attached video and repaired the washer in 30 minutes. Solved the problem. Thank you for your great advice.
