I Have tracked down a water leak after an E15 Water tap code appeared. I found water coming from O-ring and nut leading into the Zeolite container. I have searched high and low for video or thread on how to access and repair the ring and nut. Has anyone done this repair? Can it be done without disassembling the bottom part of the dishwasher but instead going through the back corner inside?

I am posting this as I have not been able to find how to fix the cracked nut in the zeolite system for anyone who needs to repair.

Hi Stacey, Thank you so much, we found the leaking at the same spot. May I ask when you taking out the nut (10024356) did you see the sealing ring (00636867)? I feel it's better to replace the ring too. I'm about to order the part, not sure if it's easy to replace together. Thank you again.

Bin,

I was confused about the sealing ring as well. I ordered the sealing ring when I order the nut thinking it went between the nut and the bottom of the inside of the dishwasher. I thought maybe my ring broke off and I wasn’t able to find it. However, I discovered it belongs underneath the dishwasher between the container and the dishwasher. So you will only need to replace the nut. Others have found the replacement nut is actually metal and it’s a different part number from the one I referenced in the video.

You may need to pull dishwasher out and clear out water that’s underneath the styrofoam disc. It needs to be dry or else you will continue to get your error message despite replacing the nut.

Hope this helps!
Good luck 👍🏼

  • Order 00636865 for a metal replacement, or 10024356 for the OEM replacement (if you can get one)
