A contractor I hired, connected by brand new dishwasher up to a 240V wire intended for the cooktop. Once we connected it to the correct power source, we found that it would not turn on. We have confirmed that power is getting to the dishwasher and getting up to the circuit panel, but nothing is happening when we use the control panel buttons. I am looking for advice on what part I should order/replace first. I have photos of the control panel components attached.

Thank you!
Rebecca

Hi,

WDF518SAFM
I found WDF518SAFM0
http://www.applianceaid.com/model-number.php The only reliable place for the model# is on the tag on the appliance itself.

Your unit shows a fuse in the consol....

If the fuse is good, definetly try the control board...

Have seen this happen a few times over the years. Man can that damage a lot of the 120 volts stuff :(
