Hi,

My WDF760SADM3 Whirlpool Dishwasher is leaking about 90% of the time. I see the water coming out from the corners of the door, mostly the right side.
I read somewhere that they recommended to remove the door panel to have a better look of where the water comes from.
I was not expecting that water will accumulate between the door panel and the door frame.
I noticed at the beginning, even do water was dripping, the water was flowing into the dishwasher again. But once the foam stared to come out it overflowed and thats when the leaking started to happen. Later in the cycle water was flowing and going back into the dishwasher. I hope my explanations make sense.
I have attached some pictures.
Im was using the recommended soap and only one piece per wash. always depositing it on the designated basket and closing the door properly. I changed to a soap that looks to be smaller in quantity, but there is no change on the leaking situation.

I do not know if this is relevant, but we had the dishwasher for about 1 year before actually connecting it and using it.

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide!

Is the dishwasher completely level? Not lower in the front than back?

That's way too much suds, try using less detergent. Also run a test load without dishes and detergent in it and see if it still leaks.

You have a 1 year warranty on it from Whirlpool, you can contact Whirlpool Canada to come out for free to fix it, if it still leaks.

Thank you for your quick response!

Unfortunately, the warranty has expired. We had it for over a year before connecting it/ stared using it.

I will run the test and ensure that the machine is level.
Thank you

Glad to help!

Hi Jake,

The dishwasher is still leaking... :(
We did a small adjusted to the dishwasher level, we put water in the dishwasher to make sure that the water was not coming to the front. The overflow switch seams to work.
We also ran the dishwasher in the one hour mode (supposedly uses the highest amount of water per cycle) and NO soap, and there was no leakage
We are using the recommended soap (pods) that are written on the dishwashers tag.
Other things that I have tried are: cleaning the filter (there was nothing there)
I check the door seal (the one that goes around 3 sides of the dishwasher) and its brand new, no bends or cracks
the arm that goes around shooting water also looks fine.

Any ideas?
Thank you again for taking the time to help me, i really appreciate that.

That indicates too much detergent suds and the leaking problem, try cutting down the amount of detergent you are putting in it. Switch to Cascade Powder and see if that resolves it.
